ConGeneIros now is submitted with four databases:

These Databases are linked in the installation process, by a message box help that is shown by the first time that ConGeneIros is executed (Welcome Screen).

By this way, you can use several programs versions (Client Databases) linked to the same Database Tables (Host).

The advantage of to have the functions and modules of Text into Amounts in different databases it that the users can define their own forms, reports and queries using the facilities provided by ConGeneiros. The Text into Amounts module can be used, for example, in other User Applications (which are compatible with Microsoft Access @).

For example, a very simple configuration can be installed between two PC’s in a warehouse store:

The set up procedure in this example will be like this:

1. Run the set up application in the PC Administration: Congeneiros2007.exe (or Congeneiros2000.exe)
   1. In the welcome window (License) Press <Accept>
   2. Select Path directory: (Default value: c:\Programs Files\ConGeneIros\) and press <Accept>
   3. In the form Inicio, if you already have the license, submit:

                                                    i.     License

                                                  ii.     Owner Name

                                                iii.     Code Key

4. Press <Accept>
5. In the message box (997) Base de Datos, type the full directory path of the Tables Data Base: (Host directory path), in this case, we recommend that the default value must be the same directory path of the programs Database as you indicated in the section1.b):

c:\Programs Files\Congeneiros\CongeneirosBD.mdb

6. In the message box (907) Text into Amounts, type the full directory path of the Text into Amounts module: (MontoEscrito directory path), in this case, we recommend that the default value must be the same directory path of the programs Database as you indicated in the section1.b):

c:\Programs Files\Congeneiros\CongeneirosME.mde

7. Press <Accept>

The ConGeneIros Program has been installed in the Host server.

2. Run the set up application in the PC POS:
   1. Be sure than the PC POS is properly linked to the HOST (PC Administration). If you have any question, please contact your Network administrator.
   2. Run Congeneiros2007.exe (or Congeneiros2000.exe)
   3. Press <Accept> on the welcome window (License)
   4. Select Path directory: (Default value: c:\Programs Files\ConGeneIros\) and press <Accept>
   5. In the form Inicio, if you already have the license, submit:

                                                    i.     License

                                                  ii.     Owner Name

                                                iii.     Code Key

*Note: This must be an additional license number.

6. Press <Accept>
7. In the message box (997) DataBase, type the full directory path of the Tables Data Base: (Host directory path). It is in this moment where you link with the Host, in other words, you must submit the complete Network Path Directory of the Database indicated in the section 1.e). According to this example, you must type: 

<Letter Network Address>\Programs Files\Congeneiros\CongeneirosBD.mdb

Where < Letter Network Address > correspond to the assigned letter for the network connection to the Host (Example: Z:). You can obtain this letter using the dialog box of the Windows menu:  [Tools/Connect to Network Unit].

8. In the message box (907) Text into Amounts, type the full directory path of the Text into Amounts module: (MontoEscrito directory path), in this case, we recommend that the default value must be the same directory path of the programs Database as you indicated in the section 2.d):

c:\Programs Files\Congeneiros\CongeneirosME.mde

9. Press <Accept>

In this case two licenses are required, one for the PC of the Offices of Administration and another for the PC of the point of Sale.
